Word sweep gets stuck

Every so often (at least thrice every hour) I find the word sweep stops working, i.e. the lyrics don't scroll up and the gliding bar stops highlighting new words as the song progresses.

The following have been tried and ruled out:

1. I have a P4 processor so that can't be blamed.
2. While it happens mostly when I hook up an LCD projector to my laptop
it infrequently strikes even when no LCD projector is connected. I
have tried at least 10 differenct state-of-the-art projectors.
3. Display driver has been changed several times but to no avail.

Otherwise a brilliant piece of software, this glitch sticks out like a sour thumb and is really ruining all my shows. I use Windows XP Prof.

Please help!!!

I have no solution.

This is a problem for graphic driver too slow for 2d display.

Please uncheck the vertical scrolling option.

it has been reported that the Sound Blaster cards will cause this problem sometimes so you need to reduce the graphic acceleration in the dxdiag.

Start, Run & type dxdiag, go in video & reduce the accelerator to about 25%

Hope it helps?

JP, once I uncheck the vertical scrolling option, the display works alright! But smooth vertical scroll is a GREAT option to use. Hope a future release will try to get around this problem. Thanks a million for the help!!!

Subra

PS: I tried slowing down the acceleration of the video but that didn't seem to help with my display. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

You might want to try to slow down the acceleration in the directX? Go to start, run and type dxdiag, go in audio, reduce acceleration to 25% and see if it works?

Goog Luck!
