A drive problems

This just started. Although all my tunes are on my hard drive (C), whenever I start Karawin, or select a tune, the A drive (floppy) engages and searches that drive before going to the hard drive. Any idea?

Some users had problem with win98 and a fresh installation of the system removed the problem.
